The Public Opinion Alliance discusses the Iraqi-American strategic dialogue

The Iraqi Women Journalists Forum participated in the discussion organized by the Public Opinion Management Alliance on Friday, 6/6/2020 on the Iraqi-American strategic dialogue, with the participation of a number of political, academic and media personalities in addition to a number of representatives of civil society organizations.

The discussion included different opinions on this file, as an introductory dialogue to establish a common base between the two countries that can be negotiated in the future, and this will be done by giving sufficient space to the regional powers in the debate because they are highly concerned and also to avoid any emergency hindering the dialogue. The United States is aware of this equation and will act in a manner that contains this pressure.

The alliance members also indicated that the possibility of achieving the goals of the dialogue and its implementation is related to the current government and its capabilities in light of the major challenges facing them due to the great American-Iranian conflict, and it was emphasized that there should be a role for the United States of America in helping by strengthening the political, security and economic tools of the Iraqi government.

In the context of this, it was suggested to form a negotiating delegation that would be skilled and intelligent for the purpose of dialogue with Iran on the basis of mutual interests and the base of mutual understanding of the concerns of the two parties.

It is mentioned that the Iraqi Women Journalists Forum is one of the founders of the decision-making administration alliance, which includes political, media, human rights, and community organizations and personalities.
