The Iraqi Women Journalists Forum was organized in cooperation with the Alternatives Canadian Organization and European Union , on Monday 23 November, in the official office the forum and also via the Zoom platform; a meeting of 16 female students who successfully passed the three training workshops organized by the Forum last period on the effective and strategic use of media and digital safety, which included 60 participants and which resulted in writing 15 journalistic investigations so far.
The meeting began with a discussion of the participants’ investigations, which were published on the official website by the Head of the Iraqi Women Journalists Forum, Dr. Nibras Almamory.
The meeting also included a discussion of networking among the trainees for the purpose of developing their skills and enhancing participation in a way that guarantees changing the stereotypical image of women and contributing more effectively to the completion of press files that serve women’s issues.
The meeting ended with the official announcement of the Journalist Club, which will adopt the activities of youth media advocacy campaigns and under the direct supervision of the Iraqi Women Journalists’ Forum.
